show your traditional hunting cabin

I've wanted my own cabin for a very long time.  I started on this last September, doing the foundation and building the outhouse before I stopped so that I could hunt.  I started in again on it in late February, and just got the outside finished up (for the most part).  I still have to do the inside, but I should be able to get it completed in the next couple months.  No electricity or running water, but have a small woodstove for heat.  I can go just a couple hundred yards to get water and plan to have a tank that I will keep filled up.  This sits on about 395 acres that I own with my dad and 2 brothers.  They just finished their cabin down the hill a little ways from me, but I wanted something small for just my wife, son, and myself.  14x16 isn't very big, but it's simple and not a whole lot to have to take care of.  Pretty happy with things so far.

Had some pretty enjoyable mornings this spring so far listening to gobblers sounding off while I was on the porch doing some work.

That looks great. 14x16 is certainly doable.  The covered porch will help add storage for hanging clothes, bows and quivers as well as staging coolers.
