Sorry Kirk, it looked so much like Bocote to me. I stand corrected.

Well she's in the spray booth right now getting the clear coating this afternoon. She came in right at 47@28", and i think you are going to love the way this baby shoots Terry... I blew one of my nocks off off on the first bunch of arrows i put through it without even tying a string nock on it.. :biglaugh:

A few more pics....

Hey Terry.... Rattle my cage and let me know whether you want this all set up ready to shoot with string silencers and adjustable string nock. I typically set it up with a velcro rest and strike plate, silencers, and tied on nock. Ready to rock!

Some guys prefer to set their bows up themselves...  Thanks,   Kirk

Yes, Kirk, by all means go ahead and set it up. I can always change the knock point if I need to.

I know it's mine, but that's got to be one of the wildest risers.I've ever seen in my life. I'm so glad I picked that particular block for you to use. I saw its potential, but I didn't see that far down the road.  :readit:

Excellent.... Glad you like it. I'll get her all set up and get some finished photos outdoors before shipping. The tie on string nocks are adjustable just by twisting them on the serving.

It's always fun watching what happens when I shape a riser. Ya never know what that grain is going to do with this wood as it takes shape. All the shaping is done by hand.      Kirk

I got her all set up, but ran out of daylight for any outdoor photos. I did take a few shots on the bench though... She's going to perform best between 7-7.25" brace. The string is a BCY Mercury with large loops both ends. I'll send the specs with the bow, and the string builder contact.

I use Johnsons paste wax and a Q tip to lubricate the location pin holes in the limbs. I heat it to a liquid with a heat gun first. Doing this a couple times a year is a good idea. I use Rem oil (Gun Oil) on the limb bolt threads once a year, or more if i'm hunting in the rain a lot. a little bit goes a long way.

Hopefully the sun will peek out tomorrow and i can get some decent photos outside....But for now here's a preview.
