About a year ago, I got involved with developing new patches for Howard Hill Archery and for the Howard Hill Longbowmen.   They came out really neat and I got interested in patches from other groups... to the point that I started collecting them.    I added the most recent two, Narragansett Bowhunters and Michigan Bowhunters, to the display this morning.   I though others might enjoy seeing all these colorful patches put together in a display like this.   I think I might start putting them together in a form I could take for display at shoots.   Anyway, if this interests you, here you go:

The patches are beautiful. I liked the work done in upgrading the Hill patches. I think my favorite was the Great Lakes Longbow Invitational, I caught the trick with the reflection, and for all around pretty, Archery Australia has it hands down! Do you have duplicates? Trade you a NORVA patch for either of the last two.

Killdeer,
I am a member of the Michigan Longbow Association and our GLII shoot is August 8th. Don't know if they still have that patch or not but if they do I will get you one. If they have it, it will be on me.

Dick in Seattle,
you have one of about 8 differant MBH patches, some are grn and black other have just part of the State of Michigan, and they did other color changes.  I come across any there yours. Its a neat hobby. I'm a retired cop and before I ashcanned my uniforms I took all the patches off the shirts to give to police patch collectors.

No promises but I will see what I can do.

Dick ,

Very nice. I have a custom arrow from Michigan Longbow Associstion left as a gift after sharing lunch at Denton Hill. Hangs proudly in my office as a reminder of all the great folks out there.

I would certainly appreciate that, Jon, though if there is a link where I might go ahead and buy one, I'd be happy to do that.

Great...something else to collect!

I read this post and realized that I have not been getting patches these past 20+ years. Shame on me. I will get this fixed over the summer. All I have are some that my Dad gave me.

Thanks for the post Dick.
