Bullfrogs anyone?

have you had grilled or fried frog legs,, oh man so good!!    anyway picture yourself with waders on stickbow of choice and a judo (or field point and fender washer) pointed arrow,, in the water stalking around the edges looking for em,,,,, shoot back towards the shore so no lost arrows...

anyway curious if anyone here is going to go out our season starts 7/16..

The other "white meat" ...  In my youth we did regular Perch fries were we youngin's supplied the bullies for the side dish All were cleaned and fried like the perch fillets..MMmmmm
No LEFTOVERS at those family Fish/frog fries   !

Haven't done that in a lot of yrs. In a many states/areas in the US the bull-frog (and many other Amphibians) populations are way down. last place I trapped in ohio a few yrs back was the last place I saw good population of Bullfrogs and other species. 

It sure is a lot of fun bow and arrowing them , and "jigging" as I call it works great   Did a little gigging as well, but the bow and arrow is where the fun is !

no kidding,,, I know in Massachusetts they took it out of the hunting abstracts and put it in the fishing abstracts, re-worded it and removed the minimum size.

Pond Chicken, one of my favorites, have them regular at the local Chinese buffet. Never have hunted for them, tho.
