Chasing Solitude on YouTube

I launched "Chasing Solitude" in 2018 in DVD format. Attempting to allow access to many more adventurous young hunters who may want to explore wild places, I have posted the full-length version on YouTube. My narrations may not be as smooth as a Hollywood movie, but my sentiments are genuine in these self-filmed solo hunts. The allure of Alaska is on full display. I've watched half of it so far. Absolutely WONDERFUL! Thank you for doing things like this allowing others to dream through your adventures and learn about what it takes to achieve such an amazing achievement.

Thank you for sharing this with us Mike. I've been to Alaska once on a DIY Caribou hunt and have dreamed of going back. But my age has caught up with me for those kind of trips. But I can still live vicariously through guys like you, and Walt, and Kevin to name a few when you guys share your adventures! Thanks again!

frassettor - The film gains momentum toward the end. I hope you can watch the second half. In my books, I rely on words to paint the picture for the reader, but with videos, or in this case film, the footage is worth a million words. Mike

Several years ago I bought the DVD from Mike at the Compton Rendezvous. Seems like it was 6-8 years ago. Hard to believe time goes by so fast... I still think of this movie as being "new".
