Came home empty handed
« on: April 29, 2025, 08:41:09 PM »
Got to get out and chase hogs a few times last week. Saw quite a few , put the ( failed ) stalk on a couple , passed up shots at several and shot under a pig.that ran by. Great time , beautiful time to be out rambling.

Agree 100%. Heck how many can say that they had a hog get so close that they could have touched it with their foot before it spooked?

I'd like to get out some.  Situations just doesn't permit it.

I understand that , I’m retired and have a hard time finding time to get out. It always makes me feel better about life to spend some time in the woods though.

......sounds like a hell of a day , other than the miss ;^)) ..but these things happen...or we would never need practice ;)

As mentioned above, all those experiences and EXPOSURE to the Natural world fare exceed the benefits of some meat....enjoy those gifts my friend !  :campfire:
