Just got my new wisperstick curve.  51@28".  My arrows are 60-65 at around 525 grains.  These arrows shoot perfect out of my center cut long bow but finish nock left on the curve.  I am left handed.  Is the spine too stiff or weak?

I'm not sure, sounds like it's reading a little stiff, but I always get it mixed up. Give JD a shout, he'll know.

Good luck with it, mine came yesterday and I'm blown away by the workmanship.

Sounds stiff for a lefty, which is surprising going from a cut to center to a cut past center bow, assuming the same draw weight.

PDK, neither my new 56" or the 58" demo I tested were cut to center.

Northland, what weight tip are you shooting? If it's a 125gr, then get a few 145 or 160's and give it a try. If you're too stiff, this should bring it in.

Kevin, you are correct, the bow is not center cut.  I will give the heavier tips a try.  From everything i am reading, the shafts are too stiff.  Thanks for the info.  They are sure nice bows.  I have had mine for one day.

I just listened to Science Friday on public radio out of Minnesota.  The show was about carbon nano tube dangers.  they referenced to carbon tennis rackets and other carbon products that can sliver or be ground on.  Their findings were that carbon nano tube materials can be as dangerous as asbestos.  The dust from sand or grinding gets no less dangerous over time.  For grinding on carbon lams or cutting carbon arrows I thinking we should all have a heads up for dust control, especially if there are youngsters involved.  Although the lung damage may not show up right away, I am concerned that any one or any child playing on the floor later or the dust you collect on our clothes is putting others at risk.
I know this is off topic, but anyone who is tuning and building carbon fiber arrows it may be timely advice.

Sounds like stiff.  My Whisperstick needed stiffer than normal shafts.  Those bows sure are sweet.
It's not the arrival, it's the journey.

Sticks only

I would think the arrows would be marginally light for that bow. Whisperstiks usually need a heavier spined arrow than what you would think. Nock left from a lefty would mean too stiff, but try it at different distances. They could be too weak and are whipping, the impact you are seeing could be when they are tailling left. I shoot 55-70 lb carbons out of my 60" and 56" Mojostiks. They are both 50 lbs @ 28" and I have 29.5" draw. Whenever I have shot wood shafts, I need to be 70 lb plus spine for them to shoot correct. I expect a stiffer spine will show the way.

I had some issues spining a voodoostik.  I agree that the shelf is either barely cut to center or not quite even though JD says they are cut to center.  I think you just have to spine down to compensate.  Just some thoughts from a fellow lefty.
Silence over speed.  Heavier arrows never hurt.

When I asked JD if my 56" was cut to center he said yes.
