They all look great it will be 58". How about some input on the shrew recurve looks like it would be the best of both worlds.  :help:

I'm just not a recurve guy... It was a 56" Classic Hunter for me.  But at my 32" draw, my situation was likely different.

If you want to get it fast, look at the St. Judes listings for a super shrew by javaman.

I have a Original 54" Shrew long bow 53#@26" sweet bow. there is so many shrew's it would be hard to pick just one.

The nice thing about Shrews is you can get one of each and they will all feel the same!!  I dont think you can go wrong with either of them.  I have a 54", 58", & 60" longbows and 2 54" recurves with my 58" recurve due soon.  My only sugestion would be to come up for the Compton shoot and try one of each out.

I am going to try to win the St Judes auction and pick mine up at Comptons. The best for me is the 56in Super Shrew. I wonder how a bow quiver would go on the shorter 52in models?

Dan, I use one of the Kanati style quivers on my 54" bows and it works great.  Only problem is you have to turn your bow upside down so your arrows arent on the ground when you lean your bow up against a tree!!

I talked to Ron the other day about ordering a new Shrew and he said the Shrew Classic Hunter is all around the most versital hunting bow . If I order a new one it will be the 54in Classic Hunter with the Samurai wood combo or maybe in the Gold model .

Yup the Samurai is probably my favorite so far.  Very smooth and I love the bamboo limbs with the kingwood riser.

1 of each, for starters!
I'm only as good as my first shot.

A better question might be "HOW MANY Shrews to by"

AnointedArcher

Well I shot them all many times before I bought mine and I liked them all. But the Shrew Classic Hunter stole the show, in fact I liked it so well I bought two of them with the same specs, 54 inch at 55 pounds.

In my opinion the Classic Hunter is like buying a Jaguar over a Cadillac can't really go wrong it's just one is righter then another  ;)

I've shot all of them, including a carbon prototype and I like my 58" Bevelok Chameleon w/bamboo cores the best followed by my 58" Samurai.  As it has been said many times already, they are ALL good   ;)
