Rookie's Arrow Set Up - Going Heavy...

As I'm waiting for my 48#@27" Horne's Brush Bow to be built I'm thinking of my arrow set up and here is what I'm leaning towards:
30" AD Trad Lite @ 285 grains
Brass insert       100 grains
Woodsman BH        125 grains
Steel adapter       75 grains

Total of approx.   585 grains or 12.18 gr/lbs

What do you guys think of this for primarily whitetails and small game?

That arrow is plenty for what you are hunting.

I would plan on doing some bare shaft tuning though. Not completely sure but think you may find your arrows a little underspined.
