A tech question please for LB shooters.
If recommended brace heights on a special brand of bows are marked, lets say between 7 and 7 3/4" for bows between 60 and 66"; does that mean that for a 60" bow the recommended brace height would be 7" and that for the 66" bow, the recommended brace height would be 7 3/4"? Or 7" for the 66" and 7 3/4" for the 60"?
What are your thoughts on that matter please?
I have a 62" longbow and have a lot of problems tuning it, noise, slapping my wrist etc..
I pull 40# @ 27", RH.
Thanks. AB

I start at the low end reccomended and shoot.  Then twist the string 4 or 5 times to raise the brace and continue to do this till you get the least vibration.  When you go past the spot the vibration will get more again.  When I feel close I will only twist the string a couple of twists each time.  I have not had a bow yet I could not get reasonably quiet.  Oh and in my case I get armslap from torquing the bow.
It's not the arrival, it's the journey.
