Well I think I got the question on the right one now. Anyways I am planning to make a 68" reflex deflex longbow, shooting for the mid 50's# @ 28". I have 2- .040 glass, 1- fast flex bamboo core 3/16 thick, the riser will be 18" long with long fades. What other type of lam should I go with, would like to use a barrel tapered lam for better tillering. Some have told me to use a B/T bamboo for an all bamboo core. But I don't know if I can get the pondage out of it . I have never used this stuff before. All my bows have been wood only. Bamboo or a hard wood core?

Thanks for any suggestions.

Joe
