I am wanting to try the Heritage shafts.  I shoot a Brack Quest 55@29", and I draw a full 29".  My arrows are at least 30" long, but I don't care how long they are as long as they are 30" or more.  I am planning on shooting around 285 gr point weight, but have no idea if I need the 250's or the 300's.  Any input would be a great help.  Thanks, Jonathan

I would think the 250s would be fine and maybe the 150 might work. The 300 too stiff.

I am sure others who know a lot more about carbons will post. Good luck and have fun.

I have bareshafted the 250s to perfection with my 55#@28" Blacktail recurve. I have them cut to 29.5" with 100gr. inserts and 125gr. tips. I have heard that carbons aren't as touchy to length as they are to tip weight. So, leaving them at 30" with your set up might not work with 285gr. tip weight. Maybe someone that is more knowledgeable about carbons will respond..like Shawn.

i shoot heritage 350'5 cut at 31.75" with 225 grains up front including brass insert.  my bow is 60# at 28.5" which is pretty close to your specs.  did alot of bareshaft tuning and thought that 250's probably would have worked, but i prefer my arrows a little on the longer side.

250,s at 30 " and 175 to 200gr up front with 100gr inserts will give myou a very good combo I use this at 60lbs or 45/60 carbonexpress at 12gr a inch also very good try and you will see great shafts

I shoot 250's 30"long 100gr. inserts and 145gr points. Today while shooting with Gatekeeper I shot his 150's 100gr insert 125 gr. points 30.5" and they flew like lazer beams out of a 62#@29" bow.

Next time I get arrows I'm getting the 150's.

If ya are gonna shoot 285-325 point weight out of that bow, I would shoot the 350 and cut the arrow to 31.5"s to start, if they are a tad stiff cut off a half inch at a time until ya get great flight. The 250s with that much point weight would be weak at that long. Shawn

That's what I was thinking Shawn. Good to see I wasn't off base there.
