Horse bows and compounds?

Just a thought.  Ever notice how the main working part of the limb on a horsebow is up like the newer compounds?  Ok so who is going to look into doing that with a regular recurve?  About a 3" riser and limbs almost horizontal with a working recurve instead of a stiff one?  Could be interesting?!!??    :saywhat:

Between the heavy riser and "outward" limb forces,  can you say smooth shooting?
