I just purchased a 1967 bear kodiak hunter and was wondering what is the best string material to use for best performance without hurting the bow?     Any input would be appreciated!  Thanks Jason

Being that they only had B50 in '67, I would think that I'd go with dacron.

Like they have said B50 is the only safe way to go,I like to spin up an endless loop B50 for my older recurves.
