Guilotine or bullhead, anyone else trying this

This year I am going to use one of the large broadheads to hunt turkeys. I feel with this concept it is either zero tracking or a clean miss also meening zero tracking. I just dont want to misplace a shot and lose a bird. A head or neck hit, or even real close for that matter results in a dead bird immediately. Does anyone else think this is a viable option?

I finally got to look at a pack of Bullheads in Sportsman's Warehouse; they look much better than the Guillotine's. The blades look about twice as thick and it seems very solid.  Granted there is only 3 blades not the four on the GG.

Their not cheap, but what is anymore, so expect to shell out around $35 plus tax.

If I were to use this style of head I'd buy the Bullhead based on construction alone.  Do traditional equipment have enough energy to dispatch a bird with a head like this?

I think there is plenty of energy there. These blades are very sharp. I plan on shooting very close anyway. I have a pack of guilotines and it seems to fly well, though I also believe the bullhead is better. It just seems like a better idea to end it right now as to shoot a bird and track him. I have shot two birds through the body, and both required extensive searching.

The bullhead and guillotine look like points used for head shots only to me.

Thats exactly their intention. Hence the name guilotine.

Check out the bullhead on youtube (or the magnus site may be quicker access).  There are two dia. of heads.  The smaller diameter one can be used for body shots.  The head shots are incredible though.  Mike from Magnus is also a trad guy and from what I have heard, the bullhead has been field proven for trad guys.  I am convinced on the bullhead.

Bears can attack people- although fewer people have been killed by bears than in all WWI and WWII combined.
