I have just received a 70's Bear grizzly 58" What would be the string length and brace height?

but the diligent feed on the riches of the hunt.

i had the same question a few weeks ago and i contacted Bear directly, they narrowed it down to between 7 1/2 and 8 1/2 inches? i will measure mine tonight and tell you what its at, not saying its correct but it seems to shoot o.k. there havebeen other posts with the same question, some one will chime in.

Tom

I brace mine at 8-8 1/8", and the string is 54".
Have had several and they all braced well at these brace heights.
The essence of the hunt for me is to enter nature and observe+ return safely occasionally with the gift of a life taken.

Mine is quietest at about 8.5".  It feels quite a bit faster closer to 8" though.  I would start at about 7.75" and work up.

Willow

I called Bear Archery because I too got a 70's grizzly at 58". They said between 7.5 and 8.5. I think Im at 8.
