I have and old Indian bow, #45, nice wooden riser. The problem is that the top of one limb has a broken spot in the glass, splintered area about1/4 inch wide. I was wondering if it would be possible to grind off the top glass and replace with new? I could probably do so myself, but would like for someone more experienced to do so, if affordable. I dont want to spend more than the bow would be worth when repaired? All help appreciated and thanks for all replys in advance!

Probably have better luck gluing. it back down with super glue.
Check out the collectors page and get a hold of "The real bowdoc" or "Droptine" They are the pros and visit regularly

If someone were to do that type of a job.I would think it would be near the cost of another bow. That is a major job to stripe off the old fiberglass..And then the problem of rebonding it to the old bow is another problem.Like mentioned above.....Super glue....bowdoc
