Cutting the ear off a BOA????

Anyone do this for thick core longbows on a boa quiver. COuld you post pics? Thanks.   BILL

Bullfrog, I've done it and it doesn't effect the quiver staying in place at all. Just make sureto cut only the bottom ear on both pieces. As a matter of fact I've got that quiver mounted on my new Whisperstik.

Bill, Hope this helps. I originally cut the ears off for another bow but as you can see it still works like it was intended.

This has been done on 2 of my 3 BOAs and have not noticed any bad effects, they ar estill quiet and solid.

I recently traded quivers with a fellow who sent me a Boa that had been modified like this.  I was not familiar with it and sent an email asking about the cutting.   :confused:  

After he explained, I tried it and love it.   :bigsmyl:
