All,

Just got a job offer and will be moving to Texas. I just won't have room for this hotbox. It is big and heavy (I'd say it is around 8 feet long). My buddy and I used the plans from a Primitive Archer I believe. He was a professional shipping box builder. The pics are about 4 years old, but the condition is about the same.Just a little less shiney from two moves across country. With that said, if you come and get it, it is yours. I live in Southern Illinois (Xenia 62899).

I would really like to see someone use it. Shoot me an email and I can work out a time to be here. I can't deliver it, I already sold my truck too. Here are some pics.

First serious email gets it.

Should be there now.  You notice my reply was only 7 minutes after you posted it?  That's really something, since it probably took me 3 of those minutes to type it!!

My timing is usually not so good!

All,

Hawkeye got the box, and Buckhammer is the runner up if Hawkeye doesn't take it.

Thanks all.

Hawkeye

Thank you very, very much!

It will be a great reminder of you, and I'll try to "do it proud" by building a few bows that don't even break!  (May take a while...)

I get with you about the arrangements.

Thanks again,

Daryl

Daryl,

Your certainly welcome. I hope you get some great use out of it. I'll pull it out this week. I want to replace the cord and test it anyway.

Now Dean will have to come to your place and give you some one on one instructions.

Hawkeye

Billy,

I'm hoping to build 10-12 wood bows over the next year, have 2 or 3 of them that actually survive through tillering, and one top-of-the-heap specimen thst would get at least a D- grade from Dean.  It's not likely, but that's my goal!

If only I could talk him out of a bow to use as a pattern model...

I know I couldn't afford the "fee" to get him here as a tutor, but it would be great if we could at least get him (and you!) here for a squirrel hunt.  What do ya say?    :goldtooth:
