I've got a beautiful custom bow that I really like-----
but unfortunatly it is a little to heavy for me and I had to wait quite a while to get this bow, so what are the odds of getting somebody to take a about 5to7 pds. off of the limbs,. IS THIS POSSIBLE? and if it is how much would it cost. It is a one piece 58# at 26"

I suffered a shoulder injury and had to lighten up.  Called my bowyer and he took on the job.  Some won't.  Pay the price quoted.  I'd recommend you call the bowyer first-they know if it can stand to be lightened and they will refinish as new.  My bowyer was Allen at Liberty and I could not be happier-superlative in every respect.  If your original bowyer won't call another one or let someone here do it.
Cast a long shadow-you may provide shade to someone who needs it.  Semper Fi

I recommend Ted Fry at Raptor archery.  He took some weight off a Brackenbury recurve that I had and he did a very good job and his price was fair.
