Anyone know of a way to customize feathers a way other than splicing?  Today i spliced a feather (yes 1) after reading a "how to" on that forum - very time consuming - I'm sure partly 'cause i'm a rookie. However, i'd rather spend time shooting than splicing - any ideas??
thanks in advance for any response.

I guess you coud dye them.
With practice you will get better at it.
Think of the pride you put into them.

Get yourself a feather burner and you can cut countless shapes.Or you could try using a sharp pair of scissors and a cardboard template.
