Ever do something you think you wanna do, but you just don't feel right about it, but you go ahead anyway?

I have an incredible bow... an experimental Hill I persuaded Craig to make... actually a Hill bow with an English longbow riser... no shelf.  We called it Project X.  It's beautiful, but I felt I wanted more of an old American longbow, i.e. York, Pearson, Chieftain approach.  So, with some additional negotiation, Project X2 has been undertaken and should be delivered in about two weeks.  I'm selling and trading a whole bunch of Hill bows due to shoulder arthritis, trying to get down to lower weights.  I decided to sell this one too.   Felt a bit iffy about it, but decided to go ahead.

Well, I sold it three times!   Each time, the deal went south, for good and acceptable reasons.   When it happened this morning, for the third time, I found myself feeling good about it.    It's at the upper range of what I can draw now, but the Spirit of the Bow has spoken.  I guess I'll listen.

At least it won't be one of those, "I wish I'd never parted with..." stories.
