Guys, I did a search on this already and seems people are using everything from 2117, 2216, and 2219's to foot these.  Is there one that fits better than the others, and what is the best adhesive to use?  Thanks, mark

If you have a micrometer you can do some measuring. A 2117 aluminum shaft is 21/64 inch in diameter. The 17 is .017 inch thickness in the wall.
I last used 2117 for the 35/55 GT's Some of the different numbers you hear about have to do with if the point inserts are already installed. The ferrel on the insert is slightly larger in diameter than the shaft. You could sand down the insert slightly to use a tighter fitting foot.

I use epoxy but the gel super glue might be better. I have one come loose now and then.

Footed carbons make a tough stumping arrow.

I use 2117 on my Heritage 150s and I have used the 2219's on the GTs. Shawn

Thanks for the info guys.  I'll have to pick up one of each and experiment.  Mark
