I've got a friend on another site who's just bought a 'Budget Widow' Hawkeye. It's come with no info or manual & a string that sounds to be too short. He's getting a B/H of 9-1/2" & it sounds & looks to be waaaay to high. Can anyone tell me what it 'should' be? Also, what should the string length be? (Does it comform to the AMO standard of bow length minus 4"?)

Thanks in advance folks!

I googled Samick Hawkeye brace height and got a range from 8 1/4 to 9 1/4 inches.

It is an amo bow lentgh.  I would start about 8" on that bow and then find the spot where it's both comfortable and relatively quiet.  The mfg suggestion is just that.....a suggestion.  Each person has a different spot that works for them.
