Is it just me?????

How many people just love to hear the "twang" of a bowstring?????

Now don't get me wrong folks.....I do everything I can to get my bows "dead silent" for hunting season. But when I'm just "shooting",I just love to drop the string and listen to the THUUUMMMMMMMMMM.....
I only shoot WOOD arrows... My kid makes them, fast as I can break them!

There is a fine line between Hunting, & Sitting there looking Stupid...

Does anyone take the silencers off after the hunting season?????

I LOVE Beaver Balls,They look COOL!!!!! and I usualy leave them on once I put them on the string.

However.....The rubber "cat-wiskers" probly work better than anything else. I just HATE the look of those dang ugly rubber things wiggleing around on my bowstring. I usualy take them off after the hunting season and shoot "ala-barestring" untill the next season rolls around.

I have used beaver balls and cat whiskers, I like the cat whiskers the best, that is until Drew made me a string with woollies on it i love them and there staying on all year.

I use Whoolie Whispers, which dampen the string a little.  I, too, like to hear the humm of the string.  In fact, if my string doesn't make just the right humming noise at release, it's usually an indication that I've done something wrong.  It's quietest, of course, when one does everything right.  Love to hear that barely audible hummmmmmmmmmm.
