I am thinking about getting the 3DVD set of John Eberhart's "Hunting pressured Whitetails" but am not sure how relevent they would be to my area.
I hunt mostly in mountainous big timber areas around old clear cuts.

I get the impression that the DVDs deal mostly with hunting around crop fields, is this correct?

Any comments from those who have seen the DVDs would be great.

I have his book Bowhunting Pressured Whitetails which is one of the best reads I've had. He doesn't focus on crop fields although he may mention tips for hunting them. He is known for taking big bucks off highly pressured public land here in Michigan, which is a feat. i bet the DVD's are worth checking out.
Just one more step please!

I got all 3 DVD's for Chirstmas.  I havent watched them all yet but they are pretty good.  I would say that very little has to do with crop fields.  Mostly he talks about preseason scouting and what to look for, post season scouting and what to look for, tree stand areas and prep, ect...  Based on what I have seen already I would say they would apply to anybody nomatter what type of terrain you hunt.

RD,

Unless you are hunting IN Vancouver, I think they would be a waste of good cash for you.  One of the DVD's shows one of his hotspots...in some guy's driveway.  You should be able to find UN pressured whitetails up there.

That is true Steve.  I didnt think about where he lives.  Hunting public land here in Michigan the deer see a lot of presure.  Up in BC I am not so sure that they see a ton of hunting pressure.  Good Point!!
