Does anyone rattle this late in the season, horns, bag, ect.?

Any time the bucks stillhave their antlers (as long as they're not in velvet) rattling can evoke a curiosity response. At the least it's a "chicken soup" thing... couldn't hurt.

I rattled in three bucks over the wekend and killed one (see Christmas Season 10-pt.. thread).
I find it a better time to rattle in bigger bucks. Of course food is main attraction when it gets cold, but big guys tend to come out too late. So, the rattling or calling may get them to come to your stand a little sooner in the afternoon. Mike
