I've been flirting with ideas of what I can use in my backyard for a decent target for my Ace Hex Head tipped arrows.  Given the creativity of this group, it occurred to me that some of you guys have probably already solved the same problem.

Bear in mind, I have a small backyard in a very urban area.  My old blunt target (unsuspecting tennis balls thrown all over the place) is not appropriate in the highly unlikely event I miss (heh).  What would really be cool is some sort of swinger target (like you might use for a .22 or a BB gun) with a backstop capable of standing up to the hex heads (but not so capable that it will bend my aluminum arrows).

Anyone have any clever thoughts on this topic?

Your backstop could be hanging carpet or a canvas tarp.You could then swing anything you wanted in front of it...even a tennis ball.

Long, long afterward, in an oak I found the arrow, still unbroke;
And the song, from beginning to end, I found again in the heart of a friend.
