My buddy Fred,or "Tdog" as he's known here,took an 8 point with his recurve the 2nd day of gun in an area I know well and I can tell you it gets hit hard by the gunners.Hope he sees this thread and posts his story and the pix he relayed to me.How 'bout it Fred!

Thanks to all!  The recurve was made by Lynn Harrelson of Harrleson Traditional Archery.  I bought this bow back in 97.  Lynn made me some extra limbs last year.  All of his bows, longbows and recurves, are shooters!

I,and a group of others on our lease,hunt with archery tackle all season here,We can use any weapon from the opener till the last day,all 4 1/2 months of the season,so we compete with gun hunters all season long.I think it's more a mind set than anything else.

Congrats on a fine deer,and that's one sweet looking bow.
