Limb Twist?

Best way is to use a bow stringer.  It's pretty hard to twist a limb on a laminated bow, particularly a longbow, but some methods of stringing without a stringer can do it to a recurve.  Letting the bow sit on one (the lower) limb for months/years at a time can cause it on some bows.  Leaving the bow strung in a hot car with a lot of other stuff piled on top of it might also warp/twist the limb.  Other than that, you have to work at it pretty hard to twist a limb.

Joey, string them up and get the brace height where ya want it after the string settles in and leave them strung and hang on two pegs by the string, only unstring them when absolutely necessary.(hot car, by law,  traveling) Ya can leave a glass bow strung forever with no ill effects as long as ya store it properly(two peg thing). I have a bow that has been strung for 40 years and no ill effects as it was stored the way I mentioned. Shawn
