Well It started off just great, lightly ice rain then changing to Snow around 6:30 AM. It came down good for 1/2 hr when it turned to rain. It was about 7:00 AM I was then was waiting to go to My niece's Little girl's 2 Year Old Birthday Party. Never made it, So I went hunting... I was in my tree by 2:00 PM wind was slightly crossing my face coming from where I noticed the deer coming from. Around 4:40 PM I saw deer 2 looked liked DOEs walking in & they where. They both where this Years Fawns, They where both safe. about 10 minutes late a older DOE comes in. After 100 minutes (Ok, felt like that many)of waiting, I got my chance...  :archer:

The game was Broadside about 15 yards. I started to get ready. Nocked arrow, picked my spot, slowly drew my bow, remembering proper alignment, bending at the waste, came to full draw & loosed

Sorry, Got nicked off and didn't finish..

Anyway..... The arrow just went under her missing by just hairs. The feeling was outstanding, not just the game wasn't hurt, but for the closeness to death.... More like the Wonders of Life. Something that is all Traditional in the Wonders of Life it's self. The ArA's will never know this, some of the other types of hunters, wants to find this... Traditional Bow Hunters Live This.

In the time of Mother Nature being at Her best with CWD, EHD to name some, throw in Jack Frost and the nature of the beasts... when one gets away by the hair on Her bellie, Well Now that's what Hunting is Truly About.

**DONOTDELETE**

This Hunt was just as Great as anyone where I have taken any Game... I enjoy the time spent in the woods, not so much the end of the hunt, as in  taking a game animal. I Hope more kids find this out to save themselves & this sport.
