has anyone used razorcaps.  i got 6 and put them on my, dare i say it powder scale.  they were within .5 of a grain all of them at 175. they are easy to sharpen, finished with a ceramic rod they will give you a razor burn with one pas on your arm.  i thought that the needle point would bend if it hit bone or a log like the woodsmans do they are soft.  but i shot them through ribs, shoulder blade of a bear, then into a 55 galon drum it went through one side of that too.  and the tip spun true after the fact i have the same broadhead in my quiver now.  im glad they are not cheap but i think they are worth it.  im not shure how heavy they get but the blades would be interchangable from shaft to shaft,  i wish they made a beefy 2 blade with those interchangable weights.  they dont work for wood shafts but they are the best 3 blade screw in for traditional gear.
i also weighed my stos with glue on adapters they veried up to ten grains due to the glue and manufacturing.  i know that little bit of weight differnce isnt that crucial as long as they fly good but the more consistant your weights , lenghts, and anything else the more consistant groups can be shot. there is no way around it.

jr...my sentiments, exactly.....best engineered 3 blade head out there. I've killed five animals with them, the most recent a 3 1/2 year old cow moose and no animal, including the moose, went 20-25 yards. And....the heads are still shaving sharp. I accidently shot one into my poured concrete foundation and it stuck into the wall with a very minor ding on the very tip. Great heads.

They're deadly. I went 7 for 7 in Africa with them. 6 animals went down in sight and the 7th only went 200 yards.
They bleed hogs out quick too.

Also very impressed with the heads.   They do a number on deer.  Have not shot anthing but deer with them, looking forward to trying them on hogs and bear.

Any Contact for NAP???

I was also wondering how you resharpen, and a good place to get them at...

Thank you,

jrchambers

why wouldnt they sharpen, ive never seen a head that wasnt sharpenable.  these take a bit of time,  with a good dmt like diamond steel they will shave.

buckracks7

Mine sharpen easily with a butchers steel. I like them.
If it's in your way, move it.

The Hellrazor looks like a welded up Montec G5.  I read the reviews on Cabelas web site and at least one guy had problems with the blades coming off.  They are still pretty new so I guess we will wait an see.  I've never really heard anything bad about the razorcaps though.

I spoke to Mike at NAP. 1-281-432-2505
We are guessing the hardness is wrong on the heads. I tried using wetstones and diamond stones. Out of 6, 2 just wouldnt sharpen.
