Rut started here in Iowa

This was today 11:30 AM a couple hundred yards of Hwy 1 south of Iowa City. This is the time of year we dream about for whitetails. Get out there and enjoy. Good Hunting!

 I was out tonight.  Got in the tree about 2:30.  Rattled in a little six pointer and saw four does about dark.  No shots presented.  Was a beautiful evening to be in the woods!  Cool, but not cold, sunny, nice breeze.  I had a very nice sit.  Squirrels were very active.
 I really enjoyed your article in the Bowyer's Journal.  Hope we can get together this winter and chase some bunnies again!
