Well, today marks the end of our Archery season in the Metro Sub-units (WI).

I wasn't able to ever get ahead of the deer here at work, as they would be out during daylight one day finally and then once I started trying to put the slip on them...bam, nocturnal for weeks.

I never caught any bucks on camera all season until this past week. We need to keep numbers down at work, so I am most often after the does, but it's still nice to catch bucks slipping up. We have a self-imposed minimum of 8pt (and it has to be a nice big 8 generally). We have dozens and dozens of does wandering around, so there's no need to fill the freezer with some potential nice ones.

Anyway...thought I'd share a few camera pics.

How many deer do you figure you could "hypothetically" shoot through?

Finally had 2 bucks show up in front of a camera. They were following around a group of 5-8 does that used this gate every evening.

Time to start thinking about some turkeys...
