Weight reduction

I have a 66" 57# Horne Archery takedown longbow. I believe it's a combo hunter. Love the bow but don't shoot that weight anymore. I was wondering if I could reduce the weight by 5 to 7 #'s. Is this possible? If so is there anyone out there that offers this service or could I safely do it myself?

I heard yesterday that Mark is back building bows again. You might want to give him a call and see if he could do it for you.
