No Fall Birds For Me..........

I just went through my "First Fall Archery Turkey Season", didnt even Hear One. Thats Ok, I Learned a  LOT  about the Area I will Be Hunting Come Springtime!!        
 I had a  GREAT TIME  Just Being  OUTSIDE!!!

Ive have been chasing them for 3 years now( 2 with my wheelies that I no longer have) and have not been sucessful yet. had some close calls though.

   If ya did see one, you'd just miss anyways    
   Remember it's called Hunting as in looking for something, Not always finding....
   I know that because I look for Blacktail Deer, Ya see them after ya packup and drive out, There all along the road waving good bye....
   Trust me I know how ya feel.......

Our season is still going on. I heard some early in the week they were just clucking back and forth but it was to thick to get a look. The flocks around here are to small this season. I'm hoping to get a shot at one soon. longbow on the ground no blind, if successful it's going to be sweet.

I know what ya mean Mike! It  WAS  All about the  "Being There"  with My Kids! We  ALL  just had a  Great Time , a  Very HAPPY Memory  was Made for Old Dad that Day!!
 Stone Knife, I was told that "They are Back There" and I agree with  YOUR  Method and Weapon used, I am Right There With Ya Buddy!     Cant Wait!!
