I finally built one of these cattle panel blinds and I've seen several window sizes, but the most common is just like a 6" wide and a foot long. I was wondering what the advantages or disadvantages of having those small windows compared to bigger windows? I haven't cut my windows out yet and was looking for some input. Thanks guys for any replies!!

Of coarse the bigger the, window the easier to,see, and shoot out of.
Bigger window game can see you easier.

Two windows across from each other l ile eyes seem to spook deer a little more.

My choice would be one larger window on one side. And possibly add the shoot through screen for deer.
Might cut very small windows forviewing on the sides and back all with a flap.

Good job on the blind.

Good looking blind. I am thinking of building a couple of these blinds myself. I'll be following this to see other opinions. I would make them big enough to avoid blind spots or animals walking through your windows to quickly for a shot opportunity. If you would I would like to get some specifics on the construction.

i'm a fan of small windows. i have a popup with lots of windows, and i pretty much keep them all closed except one. i also made sure to buy one with the tall narrow windows that go almost floor to ceiling, and i ended up opening only the top half of it.

in Africa, the blinds have those taller, narrow windows too.

The windows in mine are about 16"x16", but I also use the shoot thru netting in all my windows.

I'm kinda liking the idea about several 16x16 windows. I just don't know about those small windows like slits I've been seeing.

Caleb, it's just two 16' x 54" cattle panels put together to make it extra room. I didn't want just one panel it seemed too small. It has a 1/2 pvc pipe roof supports. The outside material is that weed garden fabric I wrapped it around about 5 times then added the burlap. I made the door frame out of a  2x4's. I have one tarp on it now but I'm gonna add a second camo tarp over that one. Also have to finish the door still not sure what I want to do yet for the door. From ground to tip of the roof is 7 1/2 feet.

I use the plastic grass carpet from the local HD.

Here is a pic of mine:

And here is a pic of how I framed the dome roof:
