I'm interested in the X-impact, their outsert system intrigues me as well.  I'd like to try some for a UFOC setup.

Can anyone shed some light about proper spine or where to start for a 49# recurve drawn to 28"?

As always thanks in advance,

Jake

I shoot them and use the stainless outsert on couple of my bows and they are great ..i draw 30.5 in and 52-53 pds on the bows I use them on and use 350 spine with 150 gr head and they bare shaft great..
From friends bows I've setup I bet youd do best with 400s

I use the deep impacts..but x impacts are nice too

Thanks, John.  I'm planning to shoot 300+ grains up front.  Still think the .400's are the best bet?

I shoot deep impacts.  They are awesome.  I'm guessing 400 too. I'm shooting full length 400 with 200gr up front out of 45# bow. Shoot like missiles.  Great arrow and tough as nails.
