I have been shooting my bow consistently for the past year or so and have progressively gotten better. I have ran into a problem......the last 2 weeks or so my shooting has began to worsen and I am losing a lot of confidence. I am consistently shooting about 6-10 inches high anywhere from 5-25 yards.Another thing, my arrow flight has started to be erratic, most of the time the nock will kick up straight out of the bow. I am not sure what could be causing this.

Maybe my nock has moved?? I have a tied on nock above and below my nocking point. It does seem that the space has broadened slightly where my arrow goes onto the string in between the nocks, but nothing serious.

Maybe it's my form or release??? I don't know, everything seems to be the same as it always has. I have worked and worked and can't figure it out, it is starting to wear on me.

What causes the nock to to kick up after the release??? Would it be a low nocking point or high nocking point??

The worst thing about all of this, my trad only draw hunt is coming up on the 26th of October. I sure hope I can iron this all out before then. Any help would be appreciated.

It sounds more like your string has stretched on you.  Have you checked your brace height lately?

This prolly ain't even close for you,but I started shootin 10" high this summer, finally found that I was shooting with low wrist and my bow just don't like that! I have to shoot medium to high wrist to get along with this one, brought em right back down where I wanted!!

Might check form or have a buddy watch you shoot. Good luck!!
Stay sharp, Kenny.

Nocks kicking up is usually a high nock point, or as Kenny said you might have changed your grip, going from a high wrist to low will change the tiller of your bow which effects the nock point.
