I have two Bob Lee risers both 15" Same set of longbow limbs they are app 6/7 lbs. higher on one riser. How come? any ideas.Kip

McDave

Could it be that one riser has a different limb angle than the other one?

Thought of that cannot see the difference side by side but the only thing it could be.Any other ideas.I guess if Rob Lee cuts them all by hand it could happen. Thanks

McDave

Aside from limb angle, the geometry of the riser could affect draw weight at a certain draw length.  For example, a riser with a forward set grip will result in lower poundage than one with a back set grip, but that would be pretty obvious to see.

Yep.  I, too, think it's limb pad angle differences.  Why not check with Bob Lee to determine if they changed limb pad angles over time.  Should be able to tell from the serial numbers on your risers.
