Looking for delivery of my new McBroom 58 Mojo any day now. Green glass, bubinga riser, white tips, dark bamboo cores, 70# @ 29". Brian was gracious enough to provide a few pics before shipping. Working with Brian was an absolute pleasure from the time I ordered in November. Do to the draw weight Brian suggested a 0.20 glass I-beam in the center of the riser, just to make him feel more comfortable. You can barely see the I-beam in the first photo. Once I get to shooting and tuning, I'll repost with more photos and my thoughts.

In the beginner's mind there are many possibilities. In the expert's there are few...So the most difficult thing is always to keep your beginner's mind...This is also the real secret of the arts: always be a beginner.  Shunryu Suzuki

It's interesting to see how draw weights have come down over the past ten years or so. Ten or fifteen years ago a low 40#s was a woman's bow. Now it's an average man's bow. 70# is not that high, really. I still shoot 60# comfortably in some of my bows, 57# being average.

A lovely tribute to Grayling! I love the Mojo. Congrats.

Very nice looking bow. Nothing like an uncluttered traditional bow. My other favorites with this clean look are most Hill bows and anything from Great Northern.

Ghostbow

Strung it up today for the first time. Im loving the simple lines. Did a little tuning.

I like it. That's a good looking bow.

What gives me wings? Flying with my arrows over and over again. And never giving up...For giving up means not believing...

Ghost Dog

Please describe how it shoots. I imagine it's plenty fast. Is it quiet? Smooth drawing?

Ghostbow

Ghost Dog... yes sir, I certainly will give a discription on how it shoots in a few days. I want to get a little more familiar with the bow so as not to come off "gushing" do to its newness. I can say that tuning was a snap and the more I shoot the Mojo, the more I am noticing some subtle differences from other bows that I have shot.
