Great bows. I like those Kempf bows!

Here's one no one has mentioned yet? My Hoots recurve.

I think Sixby's Fronntier 66 is forward handle... Its definitely string follow and nice and long at 66"

Many bowyers have "rediscovered" the benefit of a forward handle. The Shrew bow that was introduced in 1994 was the first to bring it back to "modern" bow design.

They say nothing is new in archery but some things are forgotten before they are rediscovered, here's a couple of ad's from the past

We live in the present, we dream of the future, but we learn eternal truths from the past
When you were born, you cried and the world rejoiced. Live your life so that when you die, the world cries and you rejoice.
Life is like a wet sponge, you gotta squeeze it until you get every drop it has to offer

Here's one that no one has thought to bring back yet....and check out the price.      :)

Most recurves made by bowyers today are forward, some a little and some more. Generally, they are smoother, less torque and easier for most people to shoot. Bear, Black Widow, Robertson, etc. If you are looking for used, try Raptor Archery, RMSGear etc.

jt85,
I shot a Wing SlimLine Pro for my first few years; it was 45@28" and 58" length. I didn't know much about strings or tuning in those years, but even so I remember it shot very well. Fast bow.
From there, I went to r/d's, but as recurves go the Wing's are well respected.

GRAYBEARD

The Trinity Rogue is a forward handle bow, usually in longer lengths. Edward builds a well crafted bow.

Don't forget about the forward handle American Semi-Longbows (Hill Style) being made by today.  For example, bows form Northern Mist, and JD Berry.
