Wow its been a busy year and i havent been on TG much, but im happy to announce my efforts to help start an archery program at my locale Field and Stream club is starting to bloom! Our outside range is umder construction and should be finished this spring. Currently im starting a youth indoor archery program for the winter months of feb. and march for a small group of 10 or 12 youth between the ages of 10 to 17. The program will include compound bows as i cant really exclude them, but merely wish to promote archery as a whole and find it impossible to omit them. However, because of its simplicity and my love of it, im stressing that all participants without a bow of their own use the traditional bows provided by the program. Here in lies the problem....I only have two bows suitable for this purpose. Being that our club is stretched for funds, im asking my friends here on TG for help. So if anyone has a youth or light draw weight bow they could donate for this cause i would be most appreciative. I would be more than willing to pay for the shipping costs of any bow donated. Im sure the kids would think you and i hope to post some pictures of the kids enjoying and learning this great sport with the bows you sent.   Please PM me for shipping info ect. Many Thanks TG

Great Effort David, Kudos.

I'll see if i can find any old bows for you.  I've given away all of my "kids" bows to kids. But I may know where a few are.

Keep me in mind thru PM's, Dave. My wife's horseback archery program at her Girl Scout camp, camplikeagirl.org/circle-c-equestrian, uses PSE Snakes. They're tough and can handle being dropped and the rigors of learning horseback archery for beginners. Easy draw for all age beginners except for the very shortest/smallest. They are 60" bows.
