Don't know if anybody already started one of these posts, I didn't see one anywhere?

I just saw on 3Rivers newsletter that it was Fred Bear's Birthday today.

Fred Bear (3/5/1902 - 4/27/1988)

God Bless you Fred wherever you are, you were a true pioneer to the sport of Traditonal Archery!

Thank You so much for your contribution!
You are truly missed and I regret that I never got a chance to meet you.

Happy Birthday Fred

Set my vision of what bow hunting looks like.  Happy Birthday.
The season gave him perfect mornings, hunter's moons and fields of freedom found only by walking them with a predator's stride.

An arrow can only be shot by pulling it backward. So when life is dragging you back with difficulties, it means that it's going to launch you into something great.

I'm hunting with a late 60's Bear Grizzly and I love that bow! Who knows......it may have actually been touched by the Man himself?
Nah, he was probably up north somewhere pokin' bears with a sharp stick!   :saywhat:

Happy Birthday Papa Bear !!!!

Thank-You for all that you did to promote traditional archery and for those old Kodiak Specials.....they are just as sweet today as they were when they were made over 50 years ago.

Bowmaster, rest in peace in the Joy of the Lord!♥♥♥
Security is mostly a superstition. It does not exist in nature, nor do the children of men as a whole experience it. Avoiding danger is no safer in the long run than outright exposure. Life is either a daring adventure, or nothing. TGMM ♥

My first bow was a Bear Grizzly so I guess I could say that Fred kinda helped me get started about 42 years ago.

Listened to Uncle Ted's Fred Bear song earlier. Gave me chills. To the visionary, the innovator, the adventurer, ... the legend, the man. Fred Bear. Happy birthday. (should be a holiday!)
