I know that this one will be better when I re-work it.

It's easy for me to see the work needed after looking at it on location.

Thanks for looking!

I hope you have a good and Godly day!

God bless,Mudd

Looks good Mudd. What material did you use?

It needs to be bigger!  I can still see your truck. Lol! Seriously though it looks good. Got me thinking.

Not bad Mudd, just a bit of brushing in and maybe a dark spot of paint to break it up....I think that will work just fine! A bit of fine tuning and you'll be good to go!!!

That's one of the best replies I've seen on here!!!!

Looks good Mudd. Your colors match pretty good maybe just needs some vertical lines to break it up a little.

I'd leave that color though, its perfect.... Phil

The truck is over on the other side of this big pile of dirt that covered with weeds and grass, actually parked on the driveway.

I didn't paint the blind, all you can see is the reflection of what's in front of it.

I can see over the top of it and I have scallops cut between the 4 panels that I can shoot over without any problem.

I guess my head is a little over the top of the blind but I'll have on a face mask and my ghillie head cover.

The blind is solid so unless it's "Superdeer" it shouldn't be able to look thru and see me..lol

What about the head sticking over the top of it. Send a picture with you behind it in camo. That will tell all.

Mudd, I'm confused, what is is made off if it's reflecting what's in front of it?

I used some kind of plastic wall board I found at Mennards. It was the cover sheet so I got it for 10 bucks.

I cut my panels then washed them down with soap and water. Once they were dry I camo'd the back side the same way I did my hunting trailer and I painted the front side flat black.(It takes quite a bit of black paint to cover white plastic)...lol

I bought a 15 ft roll of mirrored window covering and the best spray on adhesive I could find.

I cut it in half and then cut the halves not all the way into so they are still attached to each other but can be folded in halves. I had a buddy that works as a agricultural engineer help me figure out the angle I needed to cut the bottom off so when you set them up the top leaned out from you.

I glued on the plastic mirror then drilled some holes for tether lines and a couple in the center so I could zip tie the whole thing together.

I am amazed at the pictures myself. The blind is very hard to see except in one picture I can see the curves across the top.

I think I can do it better but I'm going to need more hands than I have to do it right. Too bad no traditional hunters live near by.

The rest of the folks that hunt around here just ignore the "nut job" that buys a gun tag and never puts his bow down. The guy that's always building something to help his bow hunting without thought of killing deer with a gun. A Real "Wacko" who is ate up with his sticks and strings.

Thanks for the kind words. It feels good to have the things I try to be appreciated whether they work as well as store bought equipment or not.

God bless,Mudd

PS: These type blinds sell commercially for $250 plus shipping, this one is under $70 dollars.
The money I save on equipment I can help support my bow habit.
