Don't consider numbers thrown at you by me ---- put your nocking point where your arrows fly well. Use the bare shaft planning method.

You may wind up anywhere from 1/2 to over 1" above square ----- where your arrows fly well !

Both my 66" recurve and longbow are set at 5/8 to the top of the nock ...PR

7/8"for me on both my howatt hunter recurve and internature long bow.
