Anybody have both? I was thinking about a 58" or 60" Stinger around 50lbs but have added the Kanati to the list. Both appear to have the forward handle design, which is what I'm looking for. My draw is 28". Opinions wanted.

I've never had anything to do with the Stinger, so I can't help you there. On the other hand, they will have to pry my cold, dead fingers from my 58" 46# @ 28" Kanati. It is my go-to bow. At 46# it smokes an arrow (510 grains) through a whitetail! It does so very quietly and with no hand shock.

Bear Kodiak Magnum 52" 45# @ 28"
Bodnik Slick Stick longbow 58" 40# @ 28"

Kanati 58" 46# @ 28" R.I.P (2007-2015)

The grips are very different on those two bows. I personally like the grip on the Kanati, but that's just a personal choice.

There is likely less wait time on the Kanati as well, but not sure there.

Both bows shoot well.

Shinken

The KANATI is a sleeper - once you have one you'll wonder why you didn't get one sooner - and if you were ever to sell it, you would want it back....

Jason does *excellent* work!

Was shooting my Kanati for the first time this afternoon (58" 53@28),    might be the best grip I have experienced yet.  There are subtle little things that dont jump out at you in a photo but that you FEEL when you grip the bow.

I dont have a chrono,  but there are NO worries with speed.

Will be posting a review in a few days.

I sure like my Kanati. All I can say is I have 7 other bows but I always seem to grab the Kanati when I want to kill something!

Might want to consider a Hoots longbow as well.

I own a Kanati and have shot a stinger.  I can not remember details on the bow.  I know that I bought the Kanati and passed on the stinger.  Don't recall not liking the Stinger, just loved the Kanati.

I decided on a used 58" Kanati LB 51@28 rosewood diamondwood riser with bamboo core/veneer limbs under clear glass. I sent the payment today, I'll post pictures soon.
