I just love that we have this site to come to,to learn from others! The wealth of knowlage shared is overwelming! When I started bowhunting and archery back in the late 60s I had nobody to learn from,well almost! My mom taught me archery as she used to shoot on her school team!(thanks mom)But as for bowhunting it's self there was nobody at all,I struggled through, read a few mags and followed the path that the mags took me! this brought me away from trad archery for a few years then back to it I came,and still had nobody to learn from! a whole lot of trial and error! Then I found this place!What I have learned from here in just the few short years That I have been a member has increased my love of trad archery and bowhunting 10 fold! so thank you mods for keeping it clean and trad!      Sorry for the long winded approch here! This brings me to what I wanted to share! Back in april I had asked about thermacells and had a ton of responces! So with what everone was saying about this great product,I purchased one to see if this would indeed help me stay in the woods later in the season! You see usually I only get about a week and a half of spring turkey hunting in each spring as the skeeters and black flys get so thick they will carry you away thus ending my hunting! Well this thing works so well that I have hunted allmost everyday this spring season! I have had a ton of close calls on turkeys but couldn't seal the deal for one thing or another! I would recommend to anyone to get a thermacell if you have lots of skeeters or black flys that hamper your hunting! This thing is awesome,just like tradgang is awesome!A Big thanks to everone Who answered my posts on thermacells!

Nice post Jimmer. And I agree, I don't go in the woods without my Thermacell, when the bugs are out.

I love them just wish they could make them some what smaller.  Like neck knife small.  good luck on the turkeys!!

Best $30 I ever spent... we use it for cookouts, reading on the deck or when I'm in a blind/tree.. they just plain work great!

Yeah thermacell is the BOMB!!  It's also one of those things that I sit back and look at and wonder, "Why didn't I think of that?!"

They do make a smaller one now....it's at a couple of stores up here. If it's in Canada it has to be in the U.S.

now that there is "funny".  Those are the "original" models, now with an auto ignitor.  I have 2 of those that are 5+ years old.  Got them for $2.99 each at the end of the season closeout at a local drug-store....

I like that they re-marketed them.  Truth is though, they really aren't much smaller than the "regular" ones.
