I would think that you could use a very large mitten(or make one) that fit completely around your bow riser and still allowed you to hold your bow with a naked hand.  Like the grip covers for a quad or snowmobile.  Make it with a hand warmer pocket in it.  Stuff your hand in there and shoot as normal?

Good project - may have to make one myself.

Well, I'll try a stab at this one.  Mind you, I have not tried it because I don't mind gloves, but you can probably make something like you want that is not electronic by using one of the smaller chemical hand warmers and attaching it with some of that self adhesive athletic tape available at places likes Dick's Sporting Goods and even at some pharmacies.  It adheres well to itself but does not stick to the bow at all.  Put a strip around the top and bottom of the hand warmer pack and it will have plenty of air to keep it going good. That will be $5.00 please   :bigsmyl:

A heated grip would be great for those really cold days, but they would be illegal here in Oregon.  No electronics attached to bow or arrow.

I use the flip back mittens with a chemical pack inside.  Works pretty well.

"Toasty Toes" are small and self-adhesive. Wonder if you could stick on to the handle?

For $10 I dont think you can go wrong w/ the gloves I mentioned earlier.  I also dislike gloves and was skeptical of them until I got that pair. They're a cheap knock off which helped b/c the gripper dots dont grip enough to cause any torquing. ALso they are made out of that moisture wicking stuff so sweat is not a problem. Also they have the hidden pocket on back of hand for chemical warmer. They are super thin.

If you want to get dicey you could always cut a hole in a heated electrical sock and wear the sock on your forearm/wrist.   Wearing the sock on the forearm and wrist will help keep the hands warm. Just dont electrocute yourself.

right about now; the sun is coming up over the mountains ; and soon it will start to 'warm'- oh its been light out for hours; but there is rime all over everything; and each step is like walking on light bulbs.
Its been below zero here for some time.
I buy some cotton gloves- yes I know if they get wet they are of no good; but I carry a second pair; and two pairs sell for a dollar.
Guess its all the ice fishing I have done

A heated bow handle? How hot does the riser get before the glue in it melts? ( just something to think about when you draw back).

If I am sitting; I keep my bow on my lap; and put my hands in my parka pockets. I have never had a problem with a wooden bow riser getting to cold for me...

Red Green is the character we all know that makes something up in his garage; and it will work; but...    :saywhat:
