I'm not sure who you are addressing here but, I tilt my bow to the left (left hand bow) and haven't had a problem yet with the arrow coming off in high winds.

Your handle says it all "limbow" - I hang mine on a limb. If there is no limb, I use a screw in hook.

Goodness my hands would be frozen after holding a bow for 2-5 hours before a deer shows up. I want my hands warm when I release the string . In real cold weather I use a hand muff with a chemical hand warmer in it.

I use a screw in bow holder, I bought 100 of them a few years ago for $25.00 at a sporting goods store going out of business.

Little screw in hook for the bow.  I'm with many of you and just could not hold the bow for 3-4 hours.  For my arrow I drill a small hole in the riser above where my hand goes and epoxy a 1/4" piece of coat hanger in there.  Take a small rubber band and wrap it around your arrow.  You could throw the bow out of the tree and the arrow wont fall off but pull back on the string and it pops right off.  Most times it is sitting on my bow hand between my thumb and index finger after the shot.  Works sweet.

my hand. I never set it down. I got enough problems. I dont want to add' how am I going to get my bow in my hand or set there for 4-5 hrs an get busted reachin

I use a Lone Wolf treestand and use the rubber grommet that Lone Wolf makes for a rifle holder. It is not the one for a compound bow that goes in the center of the platform. It is the grommet made for a rifle holder that goes in the hole on either side of center.

Pretty easy to say in Texas Mike, It gets pretty cold in these parts! My hands are in my pockets. lol    :bigsmyl:
I use the realtree arm bow hooks. Hangs the bow right in front of my eyes. Never had a problem in our thick woods.
I use the arrow holder sold from 3 rivers with the rubber band on the plastic piece. Problem is they stopped selling them and I love them.

I used to always hold my bow, but over the past few years have used a few different screw in types.  These are easy to throw in your pack and are cheap.

Makes for a much more enjoyable hunt, as Guru and others have said.

I hold my bow ,But I use a 2" piece of foam with the sticky tape on it for an extra arrow holder.I just take an old aluminum arrow and punch a hole in the foam then make a slit from the hole to the outside and stick it to the side of my stand platform.A hardware store carries the foam for window sealing it's like $4.00 for a 6'piece.The arrow fits perfect and is quick and quit when you grab it.

This is the HME that I use, I like it very much. It keeps the bow right at hand and is completely quiet.

I use the EZ Hanger that folds out 3 times it puts the bow right in front of you. I have NEVER had a deer bust me while reaching for my bow.

I cant imagine that there is anything else out there that can work as good as the EZ Hanger. It takes about 30 secs to screw in the tree and it folds down so it can be carried in your pack. They also make 3 different sizes. Just my 2 cents but i have tried a ton of them and these are just so simple to use a child could do it.

I use the cheap screw in hangers from a hardware store.  You can find them up to six or eight inches long and they work better if you have a bow quiver.  They hold the bow farther from the tree.

To each their own but I don't "feel less ready" at all when my how is on the Ez hanger.  I hang in on the left side of the tree (I am right handed) and simply reach up and grab it.

I would also think I do that faster than getting my hands out of the muff and maneuvering it off my lap out of the tangle that that must produce.

Plus I have to go with what Guru said, it seems more pleasant having it - just - out of the way.

EZ hanger. If you have to hold onto that thing for hours it gets old....besides, I can't pick my nose with just one hand!!!!!  :biglaugh:

I use cheap screw in hooks that you get at the hardware store. Or a branch if there's one handy.
